Tasks 

Either individually or in pairs:
1. Write a report to describe and explain the functional and security features of your POC system. Your report should include at least the following information:
• System Overview
As you are only running the POC system in a simulated mode (i.e. not exposing
the system on the Internet), you may list down any assumptions for the simulation.
• Network diagram of your simulated setup which includes:
o All the VMs
o Briefly outline the roles of each VMs
o List of the required services of each VMs
• Operating procedures
o For the public to access to the web site
o For the authorized users to update/upload the web content
o For authorized users to remotely manage the server

• Recommend ten (10) security features/measures that you/your team think are important to enhance the security of the Oracle Linux 8 system and the web server.
o Provide an explanation for each security feature/measure.
o Provide an example of how each security feature/measure enhances the
security of the system.

• Of the ten (10) security measures recommended, you need to implement only four (4) of them for the POC system.
o Provide explanations for each of the four features/measures implemented,
focusing on how you implemented them and the specific changes or additions
made to the configuration file(s).

2. An individual reflection regarding this assignment.
Hints on the individual reflection:
• You may name a couple of positive and/or negative aspects about this assignment.
• You may explain a couple of new things you have learnt from the assignment.
3. A recording of your 15-minute technical demonstration
• You will be required to record your 15 to 20 minutes technical demonstration
using Microsoft Teams. You will provide the link of the recording on the first
page of your written report.
• In the recording, you will need to turn on the camera so that your face can be seen. If you are working on the assignment in pairs, ensure that both of you have equal presentation time (7+ minutes for each presenter).
• The recording of the technical demonstration will be due at the same time as the rest of the deliverables.
• Focal points of your demonstration:
o Focus on the operational aspects of your POC system, not on the installation
or configurations.
o No further installation or changes to the configuration in your setup.
o Demonstrate that the configured features or measures are operating accordingly. Ensure that the changes made are persistent across reboots.
