Choose a tourist destination in the Asia-Pacific region that you have personally visited. Explain the role of digital marketing in promoting this destination to you before your visit.
In preparing your report, you will need to read the relevant chapter from Morrison (2018), and undertake research from academic journals, and books, about your tourism destination.
The report MUST address the following four (4) parts:
- Define and explain the destination image that you had before your visit.
- Describe the selected destination’s consumer appeal to you as a visitor.
- Identify challenges and opportunities of using websites and social media for promoting the destination.
- Provide recommendations on how the destination can address the challenges that you have identified in part 3.
