(a) The median monthly household income for 2023 in the country is $10869.
(b) You survey 100 patients who go to CG hospital about whether they have high blood pressure. 10 of the 100 say they are suffering from high blood pressure. You infer that 10% of the patients who go to the hospital have high blood pressure.
(c) In a survey of 200 students who are studying in the SMI bachelor programme,
10% said that they would like to continue to pursue the master’s degree.

(5) A restaurant carried out a customer satisfaction survey given the restaurant’s food quality, cleanliness, price and so on. The management team has put a bar code on the cashier desk for customer to scan. Many customers just simply pay the bill and rush away without scanning the code. As the restaurant manager, you place great importance on customer reviews and feedback. Therefore, you have decided to conduct an independent Customer Satisfaction Survey to further improve
the quality and service level of the restaurant based on the survey results this month.
